Officially recognized as Georgia's highest waterfall. Amicalola Falls is an impressive 729 feet high. The upper portion of the falls is the most impressive, and there is a paved trail leading from the base of the falls to base of the upper portion.

Directions:

Travel 18 miles west on Hwy 52 from Dahlonega, Georgia to Amicalola Falls State Park. Follow road in the park until you reach the parking area at the base of the falls.
