Habersham County Georgia

Habersham County Georgia is home to North Georgia Technical College in Clarkesville, and Piedmont College in Demorest. In addition to it's colleges, Habersham County is home to over 40 structures which have been nominated to the National Historic Registry.

Located in the North Georgia Mountains, Habersham County offers a variety of outdoor recreation choices. There are 3 hiking trails, 2 atv trails, 1 horse trail and 1 waterfall. While visiting Habersham County make plans to go by the Mark of the Potter. Located 10 miles north of Clarkesville Georgia on Highway 197, Mark of the Potter offers a scenic setting and some great pottery. Mark of the Potter is the oldest craft shop in Georgia.
