Located near Mountain City Georgia in Rabun County, the 1,743 acre Black Rock Mountain State Park is the highest state park in Georgia at an elevation of 3,640'. Due to it's altitude and location, Black Rock Mountain State Park offers spectacular views of the Southern Appalachians. Named for it's dark cliff faces, boulders and outcroppings, Black Rock Mountain State Park offers several outdoor recreational opportunities including hiking and camping.

To reach Black Rock Mountain State Park from US 441 in Mountain City, look for directional signs. Travel along Black Rock Mountain Parkway.
