A day use area is available within DeSoto Falls Recreation Area,
offering picnicking along Frogtown Creek. Each of the 8 picnic sites
include a fire ring/grill, and may be accessed from the day-use parking
lot.
Camping is available at the DeSoto
Falls Campground.
To reach DeSoto Falls Recreation Area
From Dahlonega
Georgia, travel north along Highway 19 for 18 miles to the
campground entrance on the left.
From Blairsville
Georgia, travel south along US 19/129 for 17 miles to the
campground entrance on the right.
