| Located near the headwaters of the
Chattahoochee River, within the Chattahoochee National
Forest, the 34 site Upper Chattahoochee River Campground offers a
"away from it all" feel while still being close to the
activities of Helen Georgia. Featuring a grill, lantern post, tent pad
and picnic table at each site, Chattahoochee River Campground also
offers water and restrooms. To reach Upper Chattahoochee River Campground from Helen
Georgia, travel north along GA 75 for 8 miles and turn left (just
past mile marker 15) onto Chattahoochee River Road and continue to the
campground. |
