Located at the junction of the Tallulah River and Tate Branch within the Chattahoochee National Forest near the Towns/Rabun County line, the 18 site (4 walk-in) Tate Branch Campground feature tent pads, picnic tables, and grills. Toilets and drinking water are also available. To reach Tate Branch Campground from Clayton Georgia, travel 8.0 miles west along US 76 to Persimmon Road. Turn right (north) onto Persimmon Road and travel 4 miles to Forest Service Road 70. Turn left (northwest) onto FSR 70 and continue 4 miles.
