Monroe County Tennessee Waterfalls

Located within the Cherokee National Forest, the 100' Bald
River Falls is an extremely accessible waterfall, in fact Bald
River Falls may be viewed from your car. The photo above was
taken from the bridge which crosses over Bald River. Parking is
available just past the bridge when traveling from Tellico
Plains Tennessee. In addition to viewing Bald River Falls from
the bridge, you may also climb down on the left or right side of
the falls for a close-up view. A small trail is located along
the left side of the falls which travels to the top of the
falls.
To reach Bald River Falls from Tellico Plains, travel 5.25
miles along SR 165 to Tellico River Road and turn right.
Continue 5.9 miles along Tellico River Road to the bridge and
then the parking area.
