Directions: From the intersection of NC 143 and US 129 travel 1.5 miles north on US 129 and turn left on SR 1116. Continue on SR 1116 for 3.3 miles and turn right on SR 1127. Travel 2.1 miles and bear left at fork onto SR 1115. Travel along SR 1115 for 3.0 miles and turn right after bridge onto SR 1120 (becomes FR 75 at National Forest) and drive 6.0 miles to parking area. Take Big Snowbird Trail to Sassafras Creek Trail. |
