Located about 25 miles north of Knoxville
Tennessee, along the
southern shore of TVA's Norris Reservoir in
Union County Tennessee, the 3,687 acre Big Ridge
State Park offers a variety of recreational opportunities including
hiking, camping, picnicking, biking, boating, sand volleyball, tennis
courts, horseshoe pits, basketball court, softball field, badminton,
playground, and swimming.
To reach Big Ridge State Park from I 75, exit 122, take 61 east for
about 12 miles. The park entrance is located between the cities of
Andersonville and Maynardville.
