Located within Transylvania County North Carolina, the 7,100 acre Gorges State Park in one of North Carolina's newest state parks and offers a variety of attractions and recreational opportunities including hiking, camping, mountain biking, fishing, designated Wild Trout Waters, and 14 waterfalls. Gorges State Park has more than 20.6 miles of rivers and creeks, including 5 miles of Toxaway River, 4.5 miles of Bearwallow Creek, and 15 other named creeks & branches.
Gorges State Park is located along the North Carolina/South Carolina state lines near Sapphire North Carolina.
