Lookout Tower Trail
Located within Frozen Head State Park And Natural Area, the 6.9 mile Lookout Tower Trail travels from Big Cove Campground up to the top of Frozen Head Mountain. Lookout Tower Trail was originally a logging road and is also available for horseback riders. To reach Frozen Head State and Natural Area from Harriman Tennessee, travel north along Highway 27 to Wartburg and turn right (east) onto Highway 62. Continue along Highway 62 for 2 miles and turn left onto Flat Fork Road. Travel 4 miles along Flat Fork Road to the park entrance.
