Burkett Ivens Trail

Cherokee National Forest

Length: 0.6 miles

Burkett Ivens Trail takes riders through both forested and rocky terrain, and is part of the Starr Mountain Horse Trail Complex.

Trail is marked with white rectangles.

Directions:

From the Ocoee/Hiwassee Ranger Station, travel west on Hwy. 64 for 3.5 miles to Hwy. 314. Travel on 314 till it ends at Hwy 411. Turn right and travel north on 411 about 6 miles to Hwy 30. Turn right on 30 and travel 6 miles to Hwy. 315. Travel north on 315 about 11 miles to Forest Road 44. Follow 44 to the top of the mountain where trail signs will be evident.
