This trail can be used for a loop with the Buncombe Horse Trail, Mt.
Mitchell Trail, and Black Mountain Crest Trail and also provides great
views.
This narrow trail is extremely steep and follows unsteady rock debris
up the path. It is well blazed in blue. It provides great views, including
Maple Camp Bald to the northeast.

No water exists on this trail. The trail
can be used for a loop with the Buncombe Horse Trail, Mt. Mitchell Trail,
and Black Mountain Crest Trail.
Directions:
This trail begins on the Buncombe Horse Range Trail on its western
side. It is marked with a wooden sign an is blazed in blue. It reaches the
Black Mountain Crest Trail near Big Tom Peak.
