The
1.0 mile Lake View Trail forms a mostly level loop around Boley Lake. Trailhead at Boley Lake parking lot or at gate above Grist Mill.
Spur from Grist Mill gate 0.5
mile long uphill and moderately difficult.
Metal bridge along this spur was originally a gangplank from the
showboat Rhododendron.
Directions:
Babcock State Park is easily accessible from Beckley
and points south by following US 19 north. At the US Rt. 60 exit travel east 10 miles to State Rt. 41 South. |
