Babcock State Park
Located within Fayette County West Virginia, the 4,127 acre Babcock State Park is situated along the New River Gorge in the heart of whitewater rafting area. Home to Glade Creek Grist Mill, one of the most photographed tourist sites in West Virginia, Babcock State Park offers a large variety of amenities and recreational opportunities including: camping, cabin rentals, hiking, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court, horseshoe pit, gift shop, fishing, and picnicking.
To reach Babcock State Park from Charleston West Virginia, travel along WV 60 East to WV 41 South. Or along US 19 south of Beckley West Virginia.
