Cherokee National Forest

The 0.4 mile Chilhowee Forest Walk Trail is an interpretive loop which is rated Easy which begins/ends near McCamy Lake. Restrooms and picnic tables are also available within the Chilhowee Recreation area.

Directions:

From the Ocoee/Hiwassee Ranger Station take Forest Service Road 77 for about 7 miles to the top of Chilhowee Mountain. Turn right into the Chilhowee Recreation, day use area is 0.4 miles.
