Length: 2.2 miles
Rating: Moderate/Strenuous

This trail offers a great day hike with some steep slopes. Bring along a picnic for a relaxing break.

Directions from Tellico Plains:

Take 165 toward Robbinsville, NC. The trail begins at the Panther Branch Picnic Area on the Tellico River Road (FS #210) and goes up Panther Branch to its intersection with Maple Camp Lead Road on Maple Camp Lead. Parking available at Panther Branch.
