Cherokee National Forest
Length: 3.2 miles
This easy hike trail travels through the Coker Creek
Scenic corridor. Numerous, views of cascades offer excellent opportunities
for taking photographs and picnicking.
Please Note: We received word on 10-1-06 that this trail does not
offer numerous views of the cascades and that the trail is not easy.
Problems with the trail include: several trees down, rock slide areas,
overgrown areas and slippery rocks.

Directions From Tellico Plains:
Take Hwy 68 south 13.3 miles to an intersection just past
Ironsburg Methodist Church. Turn right and go 0.8 miles. Turn left at the
cemetery and travel 0.6 miles to the intersection of the paved and gravel
roads. Bear right on the paved road (Duckett Ridge Road) and proceed 3.9
miles (paved road becomes gravel road) to the intersection of Duckett
Ridge Road and Loss Creek Road. Bear to the left and go 1.6 miles to the
trailhead and parking area.
