Maple Arch Trail

| Located within Panther
Creek State Park, the 3.5 mile (loop) Maple Arch Trail follows the
shoreline of Cherokee Lake for most of the trail before ascending River
Ridge. Available for both hiking and horseback riding, Maple Arch Trail is
rated Moderately Difficult.
To reach Panther Creek State Park
From Knoxville Tennessee, travel west along I-40 to exit 394
(Highway 11E North). Travel about 35 miles toward the park and
Morristown Tennessee.
From Gatlinburg Tennessee,
travel east along I-40 to exit 417 (Highway 92) and travel toward
Jefferson City.. At the light turn right onto Highway 11E North and
continue to Morristown and Panther Creek State Park.

From the North, travel along I-81 to exit 12 (Highway 160). Continue
north along Highway 160 to Highway 11E and turn right, then the next
left. Continue about 2.5 miles to Panther Creek State Park.
