Length: 2.3 miles
Rating: Easy
Cheoah Trail is recommended for novices or families with
small children. With a group at a casual pace, allow 1-2 hours. Bring
water and protective clothing if your trip is going to be more than a few
hours.
Follow the trail markers on the Forest Service
road and the footpaths to complete the loop. Depending on the season there
are some excellent views of Lake Santeetlah. The trail has information
plaques posted at various intervals that explain how the various timber
stands are managed.
