Box Canyon Trail

Located within Dinosaur National
Monument, the 0.25 mile (one way) Box Canyon Trail is rated Easy and
travels into a shady box canyon offering exposures of the craggy sandstone
of Split Mountain. Box Canyon Trail begins on the Tour of the Tilted Rocks
auto tour road 12 miles east of the Temporary Visitor Center.
To reach Dinosaur National Monument's
Temporary Visitor Center from Dinosaur Colorado travel west along Highway
40 to Jensen Utah and turn right (north) onto Utah 149 and follow signs. |

Monument's Canyon Area Visitor Center from Dinosaur Colorado travel east
along Highway 40 for 2.0 miles to Harpers Corner Road. Turn left (north)
onto Harpers Corner Road and take the first right into the parking lot. |
