Split Mountain Campground

Located at the Split Mountain boat ramp, 4 miles east of the Temporary
Visitor Center within Dinosaur National
Monument, Split Mountain Campground serves different needs during the
year. During the off season Split Mountain Campground serves as a general
campground with no water and a vault toilet. During peak season Split
Mountain Campground serves as a group campground with 4 sites. Each of the 4
sites can accommodate up to 20 people and 6 vehicles. Each site offers a
picnic table & firepit. |

| To reach Dinosaur National Monument's
Temporary Visitor Center from Dinosaur Colorado travel west along Highway
40 to Jensen Utah and turn right (north) onto Utah 149 and follow signs.
To reach Dinosaur National Monument's Canyon Area Visitor Center from
Dinosaur Colorado travel east along Highway 40 for 2.0 miles to Harpers
Corner Road. Turn left (north) onto Harpers Corner Road and take the first
right into the parking lot.
