Located within the 530 acre Apex
Park, the 0.7 mile Sluicebox Trail begins along Apex
Trail. Sluicebox Trail is exposed, steep and has several switchbacks.
Sluicebox Trail is available for both hiking and biking. The west access for Apex Park is via the
Apex Trail from the parking area at Lookout Mountain Nature Center. Apex
Park's east access is located on the northeast corner of the Heritage
Square parking lot, which is located along US 40 at CR 93. Park in the
lower parking area. |
