Located within the 530 acre Apex
Park, the 2.8 mile Apex Trail begins at the lower Heritage Square
parking lot. Apex Trail is exposed and is steep at times.
Apex Trail is available for both hiking and biking and offers views of
Denver & Golden Colorado. The west access for Apex Park is via the
Apex Trail from the parking area at Lookout Mountain Nature Center. Apex
Park's east access is located on the northeast corner of the Heritage
Square parking lot, which is located along US 40 at CR 93. Park in the
lower parking area. |
