recreation areas.
Quinn Springs Campground is ideally situated just off
State Highway 30 and across the road from the Hiwassee River. Campsites
are large and well spaced. Located at the base of Oswald Dome, the
campground is entirely surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest. Large
white oaks and hickories provide shade and beautiful scenery.

While staying at Quinn Springs, campers can enjoy many
recreational activities in the area. For those who like to hike, try
Oswald Dome Trail, which begins at the campground. For a more educational
experience, hike the Spanking Stump Interpretive Trail, also beginning at
the campground. Just down the road, visit Lowery Falls Trail for beautiful
views of waterfalls. If fishing is your interest, the Fisherman’s trail
along the banks of the Hiwassee River will take you to many popular
fishing holes.
Loop A consist of 14 sites while Loop B has 9 sites (Tent
Sites). The sites include: grills, picnic tables, tent pads, picnic
shelter. Loop A - Flush toilets with warm water showers. Loop B – vault
toilets.

Loop A is open early April thru late October. Loop B is
open year round. All sites are on a first come, first serve basis.
Directions:
From Hwy. 64/411 intersection, go north on 411, 11.4 miles
to hwy. 30. Turn right, campground entrance is .3 miles on the right.
