North River Campground, Monroe County Tennessee Campgrounds

Located within the Cherokee National Forest, the 10 site North River Campground sits among mature hardwoods along the North River. With some sites overlooking the river, North River Campground offers vault toilets, hand pump water, tables and grilles.

To reach North River Campground from Tellico Plains Tennessee, travel east along TN 165 for 9.8 miles to Forest Service Road 217 at the North River Campground sign and turn left. Continue along FR 217 for 2.7 miles and turn right into campground.
