Directions:
Take I-181 through Johnson City and get off at the Elizabethton/Roan
Mountain State Park exit (Hwy. 67). Follow Hwy 67 through Elizabethton,
then turn right onto Hwy. 19-E south. In Roan Mountain, turn right on Hwy
143 and follow it into the park.
From Boone, NC, take Hwy 105 to Newland, NC. Take Hwy 194 North out of
Newland toward Roan Mountain, TN. At Elk Park, NC, take Hwy 19E to Roan
Mountain, TN. In Roan Mountain, turn left on Highway 143 and follow it
into the park.
