Hanging Rock State Park Family Campground

The 73 site campsites within Hanging Rock State Park, features picnic tables, grill and tent pads. Drinking water and washhouses with laundry sinks and hot showers are located nearby. Drive to and walk-in sites are available for both tents and trailer camping.

Located 4 miles northwest of Danbury North Carolina, Hanging Rock State Park may be reached from I-40 by taking US 52 north to exit 122 onto RJR Moore Road. Turn left at the top of the ramp and continue for 17 miles following the signs for Hanging Rock State Park.
