Located in the proximity of a lake, with boating access within 2 miles of
the area.
Fee area, for reservations and fess call the Cheoah Ranger District
Headquarters. Campgrounds are operated on a first come, first serve basis.
Payment can be made daily, or for a longer specified time. There is a 14
day limit between Memorial Day and Labor Day. |

About 13 miles northwest of Robbinsville, NC and adjacent to the Joyce
Kilmer/Slickrock Wilderness. Two routes of entry - either south of
Santeetlah Lake past the Cheoah Ranger Office, or north of Santeetlah Lake
accessed from U.S. Highway 129. |
