Black Moshannon State Park
Length: 2.2 mile loop
Hike up Rattlesnake Mountain. Enjoy the view down the old ski slope, and
look for bluebirds using the meadow and nestboxes. At the Route 504
crossing, check the date and distances on the old Philadelphia-Erie Turnpike
mile marker. Park near the dam, and find the trailhead about 200 feet down
the gravel road.

Directions:
Black Moshannon State Park covers 3,394 acres of forests and wetlands
that provide recreational opportunities for thousands of visitors. The park
conserves unique, natural environments and is located in Centre County on PA
Route 504, nine miles east of Philipsburg. More than 43,000 acres of the
Moshannon State Forest surround the park and help create a remote and wild
setting.
