Located within Delaware County New York, the 7,186 acre Bear Spring Mountain Wildlife Management Area is situated in the towns of Colchester and Walton and offers a variety of recreational opportunities including hiking, biking, horseback riding, camping, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hunting, fishing, boat access, and picnicking. Swimming is available at Launt Pond Beach. To reach Bear Spring Mountain Wildlife Management Area from Walton New York, travel south along NYS Route 206 for 3 miles.
