Franconia Notch State Park

Located in the heart of White Mountains, within Grafton County New Hampshire, Franconia Notch State Park straddles 8 miles of Interstate 93 as it travels through Franconia Notch. This mountain pass between the Kingsman Range and Franconia Range is home to the Old Man of the Mountain historical site, Franconia Notch State Park offers a large variety of amenities and recreational opportunities including hiking, biking, camping, skiing, swimming and more.
I-93 offers 3 exits which provide access to Franconia Notch State Park.

Exit 34A

  • Flume Gorge & Gilman Visitor's Center
  • The Basin Pull-Off, located on both northbound and southbound.
  • Hiker Parking (northbound side)
  • Lafayette Campground and Hiker Parking (southbound side)
  • Boise Rock (northbound side)
  • Old Man Viewing (northbound side)

  • Cannon Mountain Tramway
  • New England Ski Museum
  • Old Man Viewing and Museum
  • Bike Rentals & Repair Shop

  • Echo Lake Beach
