One of West Virginia's most popular state parks, the 4,200 acre Pipestem Resort State Park offers beautiful overlooks of Bluestone Gorge and a large variety of recreational opportunities and amenities including 143 guest rooms available at Pipestem Resort's two lodges, McKeever & Mountain Creek. Twenty six luxury cottages are also available, as is the 82 site campground.

Entertainment and recreational opportunities include an Aerial Tramway which takes sightseers more than 3,600' into the gorge of the Bluestone River, 3 golf courses (18 hole, 9 hole, and a miniature), hiking trails, horse trails, bike trails, and cross country ski trails. Also available is an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, hot-tub center, paddle boating in the 16 acre Long Branch Lake, an amphitheater and nature center.

Pipestem Resort State Park is 14 miles north of Princeton and 12 miles south of Hinton on WV 20.  From I-77, take Exit #14 and the park entrance is 14 miles north on Rt. 20.  From the Sandstone Exit # 139 of I-64, the park entrance is 22 miles south on WV 20.
