McCreary County Kentucky Bike Trails

Straight Creek OHV Route

Daniel Boone National Forest

Length: 2.83  miles

This trail is considered easy and is recommended for persons accustomed to riding on relatively level terrain. Riders must stay on the designated route. Cross country riding will not be allowed.

The route begins at Forest Development Road (FDR) #5279 and FDR road #646A and ends at FDR #506 ends at FDR #501 and #501A stop near the end of ridges and are posted.

Directions:

From Somerset, Kentucky, take US 27 South about 22 miles from Somerset to directional signs pointing toward Natural Arch Scenic Area. Turn west on Day Ridge Road (KY 927) and go approx. 1 mile, turn left on William Siding Road (County Rd. #646), and take right on FDR #5280 to trailhead.
