Located within Worcester County Massachusetts,
the 1,000 acre Blackstone River and Canal Heritage State Park is
operated in conjunction with the Blackstone River Valley National
Heritage Corridor. Extending from Worcester to Providence Rhode
Island, Blackstone River and Canal Heritage State Park offers a
variety of recreational opportunities and amenities including walking
trails, cross country skiing, mountain biking, hiking,
hunting, canoeing, picnicking, visitor's center and restrooms.

To reach Blackstone River and Canal Heritage State Park from the
Massachusetts Turnpike, take exit 10A (Worcester/Providence) to Route
146 South. Continue along Route 146 for 12 miles to the Uxbridge Exit
for Route 16 and turn left. Travel 2 miles along Route 16 to the traffic
lights and turn left onto Route 122 North. Travel 1.25 miles and turn
right at the traffic light onto Hartford Avenue. Follow Hartford Avenue
for 1 mile and turn right onto Oak Street. The Visitor Center is located
0.1 mile along Oak Street on the left.
