Snakeroot Nature Trail

Located within Deep
Creek State Park, the 0.25 mile Snakeroot Nature Trail is a self-guided
nature trail with an interpretive brochure which is available at the
Discovery Center & Campground. This trail may be available for Hiking and Biking,
please check with signs at trailhead.
To reach Deep Creek Lake State Park from Baltimore Maryland, travel west
along I-70 to I68 west. Exit 14A (Route 219 South Deep Creek Lake). Travel
south along Route 219 for 18 miles to Glendale Road and turn left.

Continue
along Glendale Road for a mile. Immediately after crossing Glendale Bridge,
turn left onto State Park Road. Continue along State Park Road for 1 mile to
information sign.
