Located within Rocky Gap State Park, the 5 mile (roundtrip) Evitt's Mountain Homesite Trail is rated difficult as it gains around 1,000' in elevation in 2.5 miles.Evitt's Mountain Homesite Trail also offers a foot-bridge crossing of the cascading Rocky Gap Run as it climbs Evitt's Mountain. To reach Rocky Gap State Park from Baltimore Maryland, travel west along I-70 to I-68. Continue west along I-68 to exit 50 for Rocky Gap State Park.
