Breaks Interstate Park

Located within Pike County Kentucky and Dickenson County Virginia, the 4,500 acre Breaks Interstate Park is home to the largest canyon east of the Mississippi at 5 miles long, 1,600 feet deep, the canyon is sometimes called the "Grand Canyon of the South". Breaks Interstate Park offers several amenities and recreational opportunities including hiking, biking, horseback riding, amphitheater, cottages, campground, conference center, restaurant and a visitor's center.
Breaks Interstate Park is located 7 miles east of Elkhorn City Kentucky and 8 miles north of Haysi Virginia.
