The 3.7 mile Bark Camp Loop Trail travels under a hardwood/hemlock/rhododendron
canopy and is rated Easy. Bark Camp Loop Trail intersects with Chief Benge's Scout Trail.
A campground is located nearby.
Bark Camp Loop Trail beginning at the boat launch ramp and
turns toward the
dam, the trail will take you across the dam and
around the lake.
Bark Camp Loop Trail ends back the Bark Camp Lake parking lot
to form a loop.

Directions:
From Coeburn Virginia, travel west on Hwy 58, and turn onto State Road 706 at
Tacoma. Turn onto State Road 699. Go a short distance, then turn right onto State
Road 822, travel for about 2 miles, then right again on Forest Service Road
933. Bark Camp Lake is about a mile down 933. Bark Camp Loop Trail may also be
accessed from the Chief Benge's Scout Trail. |
