Oconee County South Carolina Hiking Trails

Blue Hole Falls Trail

Directions:

From Walhalla, drive north on SC 11 for 14.0 miles and turn left onto SC 130. Drive north on SC 130 for 10.5 miles and turn right (east) at the entrance of Duke Power's Bad Creek Hydroelectric Station. Drive approximately 2.0 miles to the parking area for the Foothills Trail/Whitewater River.

From Walhalla drive west on SC 28 for 6.6 miles and turn left onto Whetstone Road (Oconee County S-193). Continue on s-193 for approximately 0.8 mile and turn left onto Cassidy Bridge Road (Oconee County S-290), and drive 0.9 mile and turn left onto Rich Mountain Road (FS 744, which is gravel). Drive 3.3 miles and turn right onto Cedar Creek Road (FS 744C). Drive 2.5 miles on FS 744C to FS 2658 (right side of the road) and park by an earth mound, which partially blocks access to FS 2658.
