Tramontane Trail

Park

Beginning
at Cabin no 9, the 2.5 mile Tramontane Trail travels through a large forested area and out into
fields of an old homestead. From
this point the trail travels to a high ridge overlooking the upper
valley and headwaters of
Holly River. Approximately
2.3 miles, look for Mystic
Falls, the hidden waterfall of Holly River
State Park. Tramontane
Trail
then descends into a dry run and on to its ending point at the Picnic
Area.

Holly
River State Park is located on WV 20, 32 miles south of Buckhannon and 20
miles north of Webster Springs. Interstate 79 running north/south through
central West Virginia offers access to WV 20 at several points.
