Length: 1.3 miles
Rating: Moderate
This
trail is named after a retired park employee.
It begins and ends in the cabin area. It visits a variety of plant
and animal habitat including a mixed deciduous hardwood forest, a hemlock
forest , a mountain stream habitat and an open meadow.
This trail has a few gentle climbs in elevation.

State Forest is located in southeastern West Virginia, near Lewisburg and
White Sulphur Springs. From Interstate 64 east or west, take Exit 175
(White Sulphur Springs) and follow signs 1 1/2 miles to the forest. |
