Redwood Trail
Beginning within Polipoli Spring State Recreation Area, the 1.7 mile Redwood Trail travels through stands of redwood and other conifers, past Tie Trail and down to an old ranger cabin. Redwood Trail ends at the old Civilian Conservation Corps camp and a 3 way junction which is the starting point for Plum Trail and Boundary Trail. To reach Haleakala Ridge Trail from Kahului Hawaii, travel along Highway 37 past Pukalani to the 2nd junction of Highway 337 and turn left. Travel along 337 for 0.3 mile and turn right onto Waipoli Road. Waipoli road becomes Polipoli Access Road at the 1st cattle guard and climbs up the mountain through a long series of switchbacks to the end of the pavement.
