Maui County Hawaii Hiking Trails

Polipoli Trail

Beginning within Polipoli Spring State Recreation Area, the 0.6 mile Polipoli Trail crosses on the contour of the Kaleakala Ridge Trail and ends in an open grassy swale.

To reach Haleakala Ridge Trail from Kahului Hawaii, travel along Highway 37 past Pukalani to the 2nd junction of Highway 337 and turn left. Travel along 337 for 0.3 mile and turn right onto Waipoli Road. Waipoli road becomes Polipoli Access Road at the 1st cattle guard and climbs up the mountain through a long series of switchbacks to the end of the pavement.
