Camp Columbia State Park/State Forest

Located within Litchfield County Connecticut, Camp Columbia State Park/State Forest was once the home to the Columbia College Engineering School of Plane Surveying. Today Camp Columbia State Historic Park & Camp Columbia State Forest offers the opportunity for hiking in addition to it's historic features.

Trails include:

  • Blue
  • Green
  • Orange
  • Red
To reach Camp Columbia State Park/State Forest from Litchfield Connecticut, travel west along State Route 202 for 3.4 miles to State Route 209/Bantam Lake Road and turn south. Continue south along Route 209 for 2.9 miles to it's end Turn left (east) onto Route 109/West Street and continue 0.25 miles to the parking area on the right.
