Burr Pond State Park

Located within Litchfield County Connecticut, Burr Pond State Park offers a variety of facilities and recreational opportunities including hiking, fishing, a boat ramp, picnic shelters, picnic tables, canoe & kayak rentals and swimming.

To reach Burr Pond State Park from Route 8 north, exit 46 and turn left onto Pinewoods Road. Continue along Pinewoods Road to the first stop sign and turn left onto Winsted Road. Travel about 1 mile along Winsted Road and turn right at the blinking light. Burr Pond State Park is another mile on the left.
