Starts on dirt road on west side of New State Road, goes past 3
municipal wells, is Easy to slightly Moderate flat trail along river with
some turns and multiple step up bridges for 0.75 mile. Trail then becomes
Difficult at tall curving flight of steps then mostly Moderate through
woods for next 0.75 miles with some turns and climbs to Middle Turnpike
West. Return is over same course. Alternate trail follows river along
lower level for 0.25 mile.
