Available for Hiking, Biking, Horseback riding and Cross Country Skiing, the
11.6 mile Rampart Reservoir Trail forms a loop which traverses Rampart
Reservoirs shoreline.
Rampart Reservoir Trail access:
- Travel north from Woodland Park Colorado along Rampart Range Road and
follow signs to Rampart Reservoir.

- From Colorado Springs Colorado, take the Manitou Springs exit as if going
to Garden of the Gods. after going past "Balanced Rock" a sign on
the left will indicate the Rampart Range Road.
During the winter, FS 306 to Rampart Reservoir is closed with a gate.
Additional cross country ski access is via Rainbow Gulch Trail which begins on
Rampart Range Road, west of CR 306.
