Lost Lake Trail #64

Available for both hiking and horseback riding,
Lost Lake Trail travels 5.56 miles to Lost Lake and 11.46 miles around
loop. Lost Lake Trail travels along Brush Creek Road (FR
1695) for the first 2.87 miles to the intersection with Gore Range Trail.
Turn south (left) and continue 0.96 miles to the next trail junction. Turn
right (southwest) and continue along this segment of Lost Lake Trail 1.7
miles to Lost Lake. |

You may continue
along Lost Lake Trail for another 2 mile finishing the loop to the north
and east back to the Gore Range Trail. At the intersection you will then
turn right (south) for another 1.04 miles to the intersection with Brush
Creek Trail and return to the trailhead. To reach Lost Lake
Trail from I-70, exit 205 Silverthorne/Dillon and travel north along
Highway 9 for 16.75 miles. Just after mile marker 118 turn left onto CR 30
toward the town of Heeney Colorado. Continue along CR 30 for about 0.5
miles and turn right into the old Grandview Cemetery on the right side of
the road. Park here. |
