Rated easy, the 1.55 mile Lily Pad Lake Trail receives
heavy use as it travels south (uphill) from the trailhead along a dirt
road to a water tank where views of the Dillon Reservoir are available.
Small streams are crossed along Lily Pad Trail. Salt Lick Trail is reached
0.65 miles from the trailhead and Lily Pad Lake is reached at 0.9 miles. |

| To reach Lily Pad Trail from I-70,
exit 205 Silverthorne/Dillon and turn north onto Highway 9..
Continue along Highway 9 to the first traffic light at the intersection of
Rainbow Drive and Wilderness Road. Turn left onto Wilderness Road (turns
into Ryan Gulch Road). Continue along Ryan Gulch Road to the top at 3.6
miles. The trailhead is located on the right side of the road at the
parking area. |
